PNC Wealth Management calculated the cost of the gifts mentioned in “The 12 Days of Christmas” has risen to $34,363.49 in 2016.

The .7 percent increase from 2015 was caused mostly by an increase in wages for performers such as drummers drumming and pipers piping as well as a 29 percent increase in the cost of turtle doves.
